GAIA – Journal Metrics 2015

We are pleased to announce that GAIA has significantly improved in all journal metrics. In particular, the SJR (SCImago Journal Ranking) has increased from 0,4 (2014) to 0,575 (2015). GAIA is ranked No. 89 among the 280 journals (in the second quartile) listed in the subject area "Environmental Science".

GAIA's Journal Impact Factor has increased as well, to IF 1,397 (2015). GAIA is listed both in the Science Citation Index expanded (SCIE) and in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI). We present the SJR and IF in the context of a variety of journal-based metrics:
